Chilean artist lives in Spain. She shows us a pictorial painting using different colors and shapes created by her own experience and gaze from her childhood. Her piece of art shows us a colorful development mixed with an exquisite sensitivity and harmony which she has developed during her life.
Her studies of art in the Concepción University (Chile), allowed her to develop that language. She was outstanding in art and engravings.
Although her studies are directed to teaching the arts, her personal interest was to go in depth in artistic expressions like the sculpture, photography, and xylography. Later she created a workshop for young people in order to teach her technique. When she was a student, she discovered the Austrian painter Friendensreich Hundertwasser whereby feels deep admiration. In the first stage of her painting you can see a subtle influence of this artist. Marta continues searching her own pictorial language; she is including different materials, formats and techniques in her works.
Later, she finished her college career. She begins to deepen their personal creative processes, works as a teacher in Santiago the Chile, and then she moved to the south of the country. Where she taught in a very important school in the area, where she makes notable workshops with children aged between 6 and 17 years old. She implement woodcut workshop of xylography which allows the students to discover a new unknown language for them so far.
She participates in different exhibitions, both individual and collective, but his real work is yet to be seen, she moved to Europe in 2004, Spain, where she currently resides, she travelled to different European countries. She is still working and selling one of her paintings which she has been well considered in different exhibitions in Spain.
The work of this file is a small sample of her creative evaluation. At the beginning we can see in her paintings a search which finally becomes an explosion of colors and strength in her own world. The observers can see an imaginary and ludic world with some innocent and optimism touch. These paintings are for being happy, according to her thoughts.
Finally and in the words of the artist herself puts a twist on her palette. Of necessity of diggings into her own subconscious, this new stage has been an awakening of another self.
The new sample will include this new stage, you will see in this paper a small preview of what this new process, which explores the human figure, in looks we transferred into a parallel reality that only a few can appreciate.
